Worship

Holy Eucharist on Sunday mornings is the core of our worship as Episcopalians. During the service, we hear readings from the Bible, listen to a sermon, offer prayers for ourselves and others, confess our sins, exchange greetings of peace, and share communion. We welcome everyone, regardless of their faith tradition, to receive the bread and wine at God’s table.

We offer two services on Sunday mornings. We hold the 7:45 am service in the chapel and celebrate without music. We usually hold the 11:00 am service in the church and celebrate with music.

We also offer Holy Eucharist on Thursdays at 12:10 pm in the chapel.

The Book of Common Prayer is our guide for how we worship. If you’re familiar with the Roman Catholic mass, you’ll see a lot of similarities to our rites.

We don’t have a “dress code.” Some of us like to wear our “Sunday best,” but most of us dress casually. Come in whatever clothes are comfortable for you.

The Book of Common Prayer also provides resources for corporate and individual worship throughout the week.
